AKURE– Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) has said the suspended strike of the union may begin next week.
The union suspended its strike on December 24 due to the offer made by the Federal government to pay a total amount of 70 billion in their last meeting.
It was further reported that the Government agreed to settle the arrears of salaries of the lecturers before December 31.
ASSU says the Federal government has failed to meet their demands,Fresh Strike may begin next week.
