IRELE – The Executive Chairman, Irele Local Government, Olusegun Ajimotokin, has visited Irele market as part of the commitment of his administration to ensure the restructuring of the Irele township market to address the lingering issues among market women and also to intimate them of his proposed plans in bringing about peace, unity and long-lasting rearrangement in the market.
In a statement, Ajimotokin said, “The Complex should be the commercial epic centre of the town.”
“I am determined to restructure and renovate the Complex. In achieving this proposed development.”
“Appropriate action would be taken any moment from now to restore normalcy to the complex.”
He further added that no collection of taxes from market traders until the total evacuation of the market refuses in order to bring about a hygienic environment. Sanitation and rearrangement of the market is crucial and hence efforts to expedite action would be put in place from next week.
He also implored the good people of Irele’s Local Government to cooperate with him more in bringing about tremendous development in the Local Government.
