Prince Raphael Oluyede crowned as Ayede Ogbese New Monarch

AKURE – Prince Raphael Ajibola Oluyede was on Wednesday elected as the new Alayede of Ayede Ogbese, the gateway to the capital of Ondo state north-east.

Prince Raphael was Born on the 22nd October 1958 to late Oba Peter Adetunmbi Oluyede(Iseoluwa 1) and Olori, Chief (Mrs.)TitilolaOluyede, Prince Ajibola Raphael Oluyede is happily married with children and grandchildren to Princess Olufunmi Oluyede of the Akinnehin Ruling Family of Mahin Kingdom of Ilaje.

The kingmakers, High chief Femi Fajembimo and the Odopetu, High chief Oladimeji Abitogun voted unanimously after they said they had been given wide spreed. Princes, princesses and common people of the kingdom were also involve in the voting process. Following the local council and state government officials as the observers.

According to Report, The Alayede royal throne which became vacate in march 2020 following the demise of Oba Isaac Ayodele Oluyede V, was contested by eight princes, the race tightened to a two-way competition between prince Ajibola Oluyede 63years old, and his elder cousin, Pastor Reuben Adegoriola Oluyede 70 years old, a retired local government technician, who is in the race for the fourth time.

It was gathered that, the choice of the kingmakers was the son of famous lawyer, teacher and judge, Oba Peter Adetunbi Olasehinde Oluyede IV and Olori Dorcas Titilayo Oluyede, a retired lagos school principal.

Prince Ajibola Oluyede is an high profile attorney who has handled matters on behalf of late Dr Tunji Braithwate, Senator Buruji kasamu, Bukola Saraki, Ifeanyi Ubah of capital oil and other top notch clients.

Prince Ajibola Oluyede has effectively traversed the entire gamut of legal Practice in Nigeria as a litigator and counsellor.

He is also a Director of Highland Disco Acquisition Limited, owners of the majority shareholding in Jos Electricity Distribution Company Limited.
