Betty Akeredolu endorse BTO for second term

The wife of the governor of Ondo State, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akwredolu has endorsed Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) representing Akoko North East/North West federal constituency for a second term.

AKURE – The wife of the governor of Ondo State, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akwredolu has endorsed Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) representing Akoko North East/North West federal constituency for a second term.

Mrs Akeredolu spoke at an event organised by the Akure station of the Nigeria Television Authority network.

She told the chairman of Ondo State APC, Ade Adetimehin to forget turn by turn arrangements that may had been put in place and allow Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to continue for a second term.

She said the lawmaker has displayed quality leadership and effective representation in the last two years.

“When you have individuals like BTO, it’s a blessing to humanity because we need more individuals like this and we must as a way of supporting and encouraging good governance give them the opportunity to do more through continuity.

Mrs Akeredolu noted that it was only when the right persons were put in the right places that laws could be changed to influence good governance and empower the people.

While making her remark about the topic of the events, she said the issue of over population was true in Nigeria.

“It is imperative to ensure our daughters access education to help Nigeria control it’s population.

“Most women are not educated and they continue to always get pregnant and be making babies, she said.

The wife of the governor was honoured with an award of ‘heart of gold’ at the event.
