Checks on Twitter trends shows that #EndSARSMemorial protest and car procession is currently trending with about one million tweets.

Twitter, despite being banned in Nigeria by the federal government is raging with tweets almost hitting a million from Nigerians.

Earlier on Wednesday, many Nigerians including top artists had arrived Lekki Toll gate in Lagos in car procession to observe the anniversary of Lekki shooting and heroes that lost their lives on October 20, 2020.

In Abuja, Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters and Pelumi Olajengbesi were on the streets of Abuja, the federal capital territory to protest in honour of young Nigerians who died in #EndSARS protest last year.

Meanwhile, a journalist with Legit TV, Okechukwu Peter has been arrested at the Lekki Toll Gate for protesting. His phone was also seized.
