Remi Olatubora, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) will be honored at a civic reception in Ode-Irele, Ondo state on Saturday, February 5.
Dr Olatubora who in 2020 attained the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), the highest rank in the legal profession in Nigeria, and also recently bagged his Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D.) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
In a statement by Daisi Omokungbe, on behalf of the planning committee, said, “the civic reception is in honour of our worthy son, Dr. Remi Olatubora, SAN, who in 2020 attained the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).”
“Dr. Remi Olatubora hails from Iyansan and Ode-Irele in Irele Local Government in Ondo state where he spent his childhood days and started his elementary education. He rose against all odds to earn a doctorate degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University and was confirmed with the prestigious title of learned silk, a Senior of Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) – the very first from Irele local government”, he said.
“We decided to put in place the civic reception in his honour, not just to celebrate him, but to use it as an opportunity to inspire our teeming young men and women coming behind from our communities in the local government.”, Mr Omokungbe added.
