Geregu Power Plc has recorded N6.9 billion pre-tax profits in the second quarter (Q2) of 2023.
This is contained in the released unaudited accounts showing its pre-tax details.
Last year Q2, the company recorded a pre-tax profit of N5.3 billion with a revenue of 15.2 billion compared to a revenue of N20.4 billion in Q2 2023.
Geregu’s earnings per share have moved to N1.8 per quarter compared to N1.44 per quarter achieved in 2022 in the same period.
Geregu Power Plc is a power generation company registered and domiciled at Itobe – Ajaokuta expressway, Ajaokuta, Kogi state.
The power plant was constructed by the federal government of Nigeria and commissioned into service on the 16th of February 2007 to generate electric power and supply it to the national grid managed by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
