Mmesoma Ejikeme has tendered her apology to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) over the forgery of her result of the 2023 unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME).
Mmesoma apologised on Wednesday in Abuja during her appearance before an ad hoc committee of the House of Representatives investigating the alleged forgery of results.
The committee also received the registrar of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede and his top directors to explain their side of the story.
Ejikeme pleaded for clemency for the ban imposed on her by JAMB to be lifted.
She said “I feel a debt of pain for letting you down”.
