FCT Water Board alerts residents on water supply shortage ahead of routine maintenance 

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board said there would water supply shortage in some areas of the nation’s capital over routine maintenance of the water recovery tank between January 13 to 14, 2024.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board said there would water supply shortage in some areas of the nation’s capital over routine maintenance of the water recovery tank between January 13 to 14, 2024. 

This was contained in a public notice issued by the Board on Tuesday in Abuja.

According to the notice, the residents of Asokoro, Garki 1 and 2, Wuse 1 and 2, and Maitama Districts will experience low-pressure water supply from the hours of four in the morning till the hours of six in the evening.

Similarly, the residents of Kubwa, Airport, Gwagwalada and their environs will experience a shortage of water supply.

The Board assures residents that full water supply will resume on Sunday the 14th of January, 2024.

Residents of the affected areas are advised to store water for the period.
