The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The board commenced the examination on Friday, April 19, and has been brought to an end today Monday, April 29.
Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB’s registrar announced the release of the UTME results at a press conference organised by the board at its headquarters in Abuja on Monday.
According to the board, 1.94 million candidates registered and sat for the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country.
In the 2024 UTME results, 64,624 were withheld; 8,401 candidates scored 300 and above; those who scored 250 and above were 77,070 while candidates who scored 200 and above were 439,974.
Candidates who scored below 200 were 1,402,490, the board disclosed.
