The Senate has passed the federal government’s N2.17trn 2023 supplementary appropriation bill after a third reading on Thursday.

The Senate has passed the federal government’s N2.17trn 2023 supplementary appropriation bill after a third reading on Thursday.

During its plenary, the Senate adopted the report of the harmonized sittings of both the House of Representatives and the Senate on the 2023 supplementary budget.

The report was submitted for adoption by the chairperson of the Senate’s appropriations committee, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (APC Ogun West).

The Red Chamber considered the report and passed the bill.

President Tinubu on Tuesday presented the supplementary appropriation bill to the National Assembly.
