President Bola Tinubu has sent additional names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening.

The chief of staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, submitted the President’s letter to Godswill Akpabio, senate president, on Wednesday.

Akpabio is yet to read the letter on the floor of the Senate.

Last week Thursday, the President forwarded a list containing 28 names of ministerial nominees to the upper legislative chamber for screening and confirmation.

On Monday, the Senate began screening the first 28 nominees.

Dele Alake; Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; Nyesom Wike, former governor of Rivers state; Nasir El-rufai, former governor of Kaduna state, are among those who have been screened so far.

Akpabio is expected to read the letter and unveil the names of the new nominees.
