The Appeal Court in Abuja on Monday has sacked the senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the Senate, Ishaku Abbo.

The Appeal Court in Abuja on Monday has sacked the senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the Senate, Ishaku Abbo.

The court voided the election of the lawmaker who was earlier declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in February on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The court ruled in favour of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amos Yohanna.
