Dangote Refinery announces cut of N15 from petrol price nationwide

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh cut in the price of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, nationwide.

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh cut in the price of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, nationwide.

The new price now ranges from N875 to N905 per litre, depending on location.

The company announced the new price regime with a cut of N15 per litre across all regions and partner retail outlets on Thursday via its official social media handles.

According to the announcement, it applies to all major fuel marketers in partnership with the refinery, which include MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.

Under the previous pricing structure, Lagos residents paid N890 per litre, while prices in the North East and South-South regions stood at N920.

With the revised rates, Lagos residents will now pay N875 per litre. Prices have also been reduced in other regions: North East and South-South to N905 per litre, South-West to N885, and North-West & Central to N895.

Dangote Refinery has advised consumers to purchase fuel only from its authorised outlets and urged the public to report any non-compliance through its hotlines: +234 707 470 2099 or +234 707 470 2100.

“Our quality petrol and diesel are refined for better engine performance and are environmentally friendly,” the company stated in the notice.
