Technocrat Media House (TMH) is a media company in Akure, Nigeria offering blended digital media and agency services is seeking to engage young and fresh graduates to join her team.

NEWS AND PROGRAMS MANAGER

He/she is responsible for Operations, News, and Programs at Technocrat Media House.

Qualifications

• He/she must hold a degree or its equivalents in Mass Communications, New Media or English from a reputable institution.
• He/she must have up to one year of working experience in News and Programs Management with any media outfit.
• He/she must have a sound knowledge of News writing, editing, digital strategies and program management.
• He must possess experience in broadcasting and presentation.
• He must possess analytical skills in areas such as the economy, lifestyle, education, health, and infrastructures.
• He must possess strong and critical communication skills necessary for writing, presentation and media productions.
• Possess active social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
• He/she must possess strong agency, clients, and vendors’ management experience

Responsibilities/Duties

• He/she is responsible for News writing, reportorial assignments, and editing
• He/she achieve monthly News publications target for the company
• He/she is responsible for the planning and implementation of all News and programs assignments.
• He/she is responsible for relating with company’s media partners
• He/she is responsible for the implementation of all internal and external directives/instructions from the Management in terms of operations, contents administration and management.
• He/she is responsible for News publications and distributions across all our digital platforms.
• Write, develop and produce a monthly report of operations of the department.

Salary

CONTENTS MANAGER

He/she is in charge of projects, audio, graphics, video, branding and printing services.

Qualifications

• He/she must be a holder of a National Diploma (ND) or equivalents in computer science or related disciplines from a reputable institution.
• He/she must have the working knowledge of Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition & Premiere and other software associated with graphics.
• He/she must have up to one year of working experience in the marketing, IT and media industries.
• He/she must possess analytical skills and the ability to relate results to clients’ objectives.
• He/she must possess strong and critical communication skills necessary for marketing.
• He/she must, in addition, possess web, SEM, digital media planning and buying experience and be aware and familiar with SEO as well.
• He/she must possess budget management experience.
• He/she must possess advanced computer and marketing tool experience.
• He/she must possess strong agency, clients, and vendors’ management experience.
• Possess active social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Responsibilities/Duties

Plan and execute designs and project activities base on clients and customers’ demands. Core responsibilities will include graphic designs, printing, monitoring, and delivery. Work with marketing, sales, and other team members to coordinate plans and activities and deliver projects. Manage agencies, vendors and relate budgets:

• Plan and execute design and printing projects.
• Develops/build relationships with clients and vendors.
• Presents new ideas and plans to optimize the business to new customers.
• Work closely with the campaign and creative teams to develop and implement projects.
• He is responsible for all the graphic contents published on our channels and for our clients.
• He is responsible for photo shooting and video coverage at events
• He is responsible for photo, audio, and video editing and printing as the case may be.
• Responsible for outside event coverage (Camera handling ability is required)
• He produces a monthly performance of projects (initiation, implementation, and delivery) reports for the company in all aspects.

MARKETING MANAGER

He/she doubles as a sales lead and accountant for the company.

Qualifications

• He/she must at least hold a National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy or marketing from a reputable institution. A degree or its equivalent will be an added advantage.
• He/she must have up to one year of working experience with corporate accounting, marketing, and administrative practice.
• He/she must have a sound knowledge of marketing and financial management.
• He must possess budget management experience.
• He must possess analytical skills and the ability to relate results to the clients’ objectives.
• He must possess strong and critical communication skills necessary for digital sales, digital marketing, and financial administration.
• Possess innovative accounting skills like QuickBooks or Wave App.
• He/she must possess strong agency, clients, and vendors’ management experience
• Possess active social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Responsibilities/Duties

• He/she is responsible for sales and marketing
• He/she achieve the monthly sales target for the company
• He/she is responsible for the planning and implementation of all financial and sales assignments on the instructions of the Management.
• He/she is responsible for relating to the company’s banker on the instructions of the Management.
• He/she must implement the directives/instructions from the Management in terms of financial operations, administration, and management.
• He/she is responsible for monitoring, calculating and generating daily, weekly and monthly income, expenditure, profit, and loss account statements for the company.
• He/she is responsible for monitoring and calculating the financial responsibility, incomes, and sales respectively.
• Write, develop and produce a financial monthly report for the company.
• Possess active social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
