REVELATIONS: Omojuwa says Oby Ezekwesili not on Alpha Reach Board as CAC documents reveal she’s on the board

ABUJA – Japhet Omojuwa, the founder and chief strategist of the Alpha Reach has stated that Dr. Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili was not on the board and never a co-owner of the company.

This was contained in a clarification document issued by the company and signed by Japhet Omojuwa published on its Twitter handle @alphareach.

Alpha Reach, as an organization, was not involved in the campaign making rounds. And neither did any Alpha Reach staff pay anyone on behalf of Alpha Reach. The speculation that the company was involved in the campaign is therefore not true. We are also aware that Twitter cleared accounts associated with the said campaign. It is pertinent to note that none of those accounts had any link or affiliation with our company. On another note, Alpha Reach wishes to state that at no time was Dr. Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili a part-owner of Alpha Reach, and she is not a member of the Alpha Reach board. This clarification is necessary because of insinuations being made that she is/was a co-owner of Alpha Reach. Thank you

Signed – jj. Omojuwa

The company said it became necessary to clear its name and it’s officers from the media campaign seeking the release of a Colombian citizen charged with money laundering as earlier published by BuzzFeed News.

After the explosive news, Nigerians on Twitter began to question those who were behind the Alpha Reach company in which Mr. Omojuwa is the chief strategist. This was at the point the names of notable Nigerians which include; Governor El-rufai Nasir, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Damilola Ogunleye, and Japhet Omojuwa popped up as the directors of the company.

A search by TECHNOCRAT MEDIA on its incorporation documents with https://ng-check.com/, a public platform that provides public search on companies registration documents from the Corporate Affairs Commission – Nigeria’s official company incorporation agency revealed that Governor El-Rufai Nasir, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Damilola Ogunleye, and Japhet Omojuwa were the directors of the company which has been denied by Mr. Omojuwa.

THE ALPHA REACH LIMITED was incorporated in Abuja, Nigeria with registration number 1066507 on September 20, 2012, with its registered office address located at E18 Sharif Plaza Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.

In a series of tweets by the son of Dr. Ezekwesili, Chuba Ezekwesili said Mr. Omojuwa had allegedly forged the signature and ID card of his mother and enlisted her on his company board without her consent.

Is there a case of an alleged forgery by Omojuwa which he has denied through his company? The official response of the Corporate Affairs Commission and Dr. Oby Ezekwesili would confirm his culpability.
