BREAKING: Senate suspends sitting for a week

ABUJA – The Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan has announced that senate meeting has been suspended for one week to allow Senators to focus on zonal public hearing on the Review of the 1999 Constitution.

In a statement, Lawan said “We shall be devoting the entire week to the constitution review exercise,”

He made the announcement on Wednesday at the floor of the Senate.
