The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has promised their corporation with the electoral body, Independence Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies to ensure that the October 10, gubernatorial election is free, fair, and credible.
This was made known by the party’s State Chairman, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, while addressing delegates of community leaders who visited the state secretariat in Akure, the state capital.
The State Chairman who was represented by the Director of Media & Publicity, Mr. Steve Otaloro said that the achievement of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu led administration in the past three years will make his re-election easy without any form of struggle.
He said: “Akeredolu went to China and signed a deal with the Linyi Municipal government for the establishment of industries in Ondo State. That singular trip resulted in the success story of the Ondo-Linyi industrial hub where seven industries are now fully operational.
“The future of Ondo state is in the deep seaport that is being pursued by governor Akeredolu. The governor has emphatically assured that there is no going back on the march towards having a deep seaport in the state.
“The Arakunrin Akeredolu government has, recently, distributed to schools science equipment worth several millions of naira. The government of the APC will, continually, usher in great economic prosperity in Ondo state.”
Mr. Otaloro added that the Akeredolu administration has provided a peaceful environment for the citizens of the state which more than what anyone could ask for.
