BENUE – Three Suspected Herdsmen have been arrested by security operatives over the attack on Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.
Ortom was last Saturday attacked by some gunmen along Tyo Mu, Makurdi, where they shoot sporadically on the governor’s convoy.
Security Adviser to Ortom, Paul Hemba said that the police team found the fishermen close to the scene of the attack and are being investigated.
Report has it that the three arrested are Jukun fishermen.
