ILE- IFE – A staff of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, identified as Fisayo Oyeniyi has reportedly committed suicide in his residence.
According to Report, Oyeniyi who was one of the armed guards in the security department sent a suicide note to his mother, wife and children informing them that he was fed up of life, before hanging himself in his house at Ifewara road, Ile-Ife.
It was reported that the decreased has been buried ln line with the Yoruba tradition.
Speaking with The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju, confirmed the incident saying Mr. Oyeniyi left office after he sent a suicide text to his family
All efforts to speak with the police as at the time of this report were unsuccessful.
