Data: 718,412 got vaccinated against COVID-19 in March – NPHCDA

ABUJA – The National Primary Healthcare Development Agency according to the data on its website has said that a total of 718, 412 eligible Nigerians have been vaccinated against covid-19 across the thirty-six states of the federation and including Abuja, the federal capital territory as of March 31.

According to the data obtained from the agency’s website through its electronic management of immunization data (EMID), Lagos State got the highest vaccination with 136,356 which represents 53.7%, followed by Ogun state with 50,870 which represents 89.9%, and thirdly, Kaduna state with 46,474 which is 51.7% of the total target reach in the exercise across the states.

The states with the least vaccinated include, Abia – 697, Taraba – 1,538, Ebonyi – 3,394, Sokoto – 4,731, and Bayelsa – 5,049 respectively.

Meanwhile, Kogi – 0 which means activity is yet to commence which might be connected to the position of the governor of the state, Yahaya Bello, who has vowed that Kogi won’t participate in the vaccination exercise.
