Female Rice farmer attack by suspected Herdsmen in Ondo

AKURE – A female rice farmer, Amaka Okafor, has been attacked by people suspected to be herdsmen in Ogbese, Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State.

According to Report, The lady was inflicted with matchete cuts on her head and hands by the herders while working on her rice farm.

She was later rushed to an hospital where she is currently receiving treatment.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Akeredolu on Agriculture, Akin Olotu while responding to the incident via WhatsApp message said The victim was responding to treatment in the hospital.
