Suspected Herdsmen attack Three women in Ekiti

EKITI – Three women have been attacked by suspected Herdsmen in Irele-Oke-Oko area of Ikole local government area of Ekiti, State

According to Report, The women  were  attacked with cutlass and  are currently receiving treatment at the General Hospital Ikole Ekiti.
The herders which are about six came to the building where the women reside close to the second dam and demanded for money.
 However, the women were unable to meet up with the demand as they claimed to have just #200 left with them.

It was gathered that the Herdsmen were said to have collected the money from them and made attempt to forcefully sleep with the women.
 The refusal of the women to grant their demand for such immoral act led to the brutal attack before they fled the scene.

Governor on Non State Security Hon. Dele Olugbemi confirm the incident while responding He described the attack as unfortunate.
