Eid-el-Fitri: Ondo PDP Woman leader celebrates with Muslims

ONDO – The PDP state woman leader and former House Of Assembly Member in Ondo State, Hon. Princess Kemisola Adesanya congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, and the joyous celebrations of Eid-el-Fitri.

She said in a statement made available to celebrate with Muslims during this year’s celebration that it took lots of sacrifices, self-control, and determination to ignore personal pleasures for spiritual purposes. 
Hon. Kemisola urged all Muslim faithful and indeed Nigerians to celebrate with full consciousness of the prevailing situation in the land.


According to her “In our sober reflections, we should pray for security, peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, and progress of the nation”.


She added that “We have our faith and believe in the Almighty Allah that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophet’s teachings of  love, justice, fairness, equity, tolerance, honesty, and dedication to duty will remain with us all.”


She expressed that though the country is passing through a tense phase in its development, particularly with regards to security challenges, and the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic that has caused much destruction to the citizens and the economy at large. She wishes her brothers and sisters a joyous celebration, and fruitful years ahead.


The former lawmaker, therefore, appealed to the Muslim faithful and all celebrating with them to adhere to the curfew and COVID-19 protocols, as spelled out by the government, to avoid destructive dimension.
