AKURE – Ondo state PDP Chieftain, Dennis Alonge-Niyi has resigned from the party.
According to Report, Dennis, who contested the last state congress with incumbent Chairman, Fatai Adams, resigned alongside his wife, Yeye Adenike.
According to The Precision NG, the resignation letter dated Monday, May 31 is with effect from June 1.
The letter was addressed to the Chairman Ward 1, Afo, in Ose local government area,
“He said, we thank you for the leadership you have provided for us in the ward and all the support we derived from the party and her teeming members from 1998 to date.”
Alonge-Niyi was a former council chairman of Ose local government area of the state, between 2003 and 2007.
He participated at the last state congress of the party, where he lost out to the current State Chairman, Mr. Fatai Adams.
