The news of the marriage between Debo Adebayo (Mr Macaroni), a Nigerian comedian, and Kemi Ikuseedun (Mummy wa), a popular skit maker has thrown many Nigerians, particularly the younger folk into looking for the truth.
Mr Macroni, despite admitting he is scared of marriage a month ago, announced his engagement with ‘Mummy wa’ on Saturday morning.
The skit maker made the announcement on his social media pages revealing the details of his engagement.
He shared photos with his supposed bride alongside a caption that indicates he is having his introduction on Saturday, April 23 (today), added that the wedding is slated for tomorrow, Sunday, April 24.
“Engagement today, Wedding tomorrow,” he said in a tweet.
The curiosity of Nigerians whether the development is true remains blurry as Mr Macaroni is yet to add any further details to the announcement, making it difficult to actually know if the video and pictures were from one of his numerous skits.
This engagement is coming after he announced it during an interactive session with his fans on March 24, saying he has no plan of getting married soon.
Mr Macaroni also revealed he has not been in a romantic relationship since 2012 when he was at the Houdegbe North American University in the Benin Republic (HNAUB), TheCable said in a report.
Findings by TECHNOCRAT MEDIA through a family source close to the bride’s mother’s family who doesn’t want her name mentioned, said, the news is true or not.
“The news is not true. They only have a business relationship, nothing more,” she said.
