Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti has knocked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, says power must return to the south.
Mr Fayose had contested in the presidential primary election of the PDP but lost as he scored zero in the contest.
The former governor who tweeted on Wednesday said the current president, Muhammadu Buhari is a northerner and power must return to the south or nothing.
It is not clear whether Mr Fayose is set to dump the PDP. His candidate lost and came a distant third in the Ekiti state governorship election that was held two weeks ago.
Reports also have it that the governor-elect, Biodun Oyebanji visited the former governor at his Lagos residence on Wednesday.
Mr Fayose said Nigerians should wait for the details soon.
