Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo State, has approved the removal of the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Cyprian Akaolisa.
Channels reports that a statement issued on Tuesday confirmed his removal from office as the Attorney General.
Akaolisa was directed to hand over all government property in his possession to the State Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, without delay.
However, the statement announcing Akaolisa’s removal did not disclose the reason the governor made the decision.
