AKURE – The Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of Ondo State, Mr. Titiloye Charles has told the residents of the State not to pay more than N300 for the procurement of Affidavit in any court within Ondo State.
He announced the decision of the Ondo State Ministry of Justice to ease the procedure of making an affidavit via his Facebook profile on Monday evening.
He said “the procedure and cost of making ALL CATEGORIES OF AFFIDAVIT AT ONDO STATE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE, Alagbaka Akure has been reviewed. All types of Affidavits now cost N300 only. There is no requirement for deponents to attach passport photographs or RED SEAL. No hidden cost of red seal, sealing of the Affidavit is free. Deponents should simply comply with the provision of the Evidence Act on the content of Affidavit/oath.
He warned the people of the state and ministry officials to comply with the new regulation.
