Olumuyiwa Adu has emerged flag bearer of PDP in the forthcoming Akure North/Akure South bye-election in Ondo state.
Mr Adu polled 98 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Kemi Adesanya who had 70 votes.

Others, Dayo Awude, a former commissioner in the administration of Dr Olusegun Mimiko had 16, Babatunde Faro 40 and Bayo Alarapon 8 respectively.
Mr Adu is expected to face the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Alade who won the party’s primaries on Tuesday.
