House of Representatives has issued a warrant of arrest for Haruna Kolo, former desk officer of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
Kolo had allegedly implicated the chairperson of the commission, Muheeda Dankaka of being the brains behind N98m job fraud allegations in FCC.
Yusuf Gagdi, the chairperson of the house ad-hoc Committee investigating job racketeering in FCC, issued the warrant of arrest on Thursday following the failure of Kolo to honour invitations of the committee.
Gagdi said Kolo has for the fourth time shunned its invitation. “Kolo was invited on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to appear before the House Ad-hoc Committee to give details explanations on how N98 million was allegedly transferred to the embattled Chairman of FCC, Dr. Muheeba Dankaka.”
Kolo now works with the Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON).
