Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Ondo State Governor, has appointed 344 new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) without clear portfolios.
In less than three months, the residents of the State will be electing a new governor and Governor Aiyedatiwa is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ebenezer Adeniyan, chief press secretary to the Governor in a statement disclosed the appointments of the new SSAs and SAs on Friday.
However, the statement did not include the portfolios of the new aides.
The Press Statement
“In continuation of efforts to enhance governance and service delivery to the people of the State, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs),” the statement reads.
“The new appointments are spread across the 18 Local Government Areas, 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) and 203 Wards in the State.
“While congratulating the new appointees, the Governor urged them to bring to bear their wealth of experience and dedicate themselves to serving the people of the State.
