Tinubu arrives in Ogun to meet traditional rulers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in Ogun state to meet the state’s traditional rulers.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in Ogun state to meet the state’s traditional rulers.

The President is currently in Ijebu-Ode to meet with the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona.

Tinubu, who arrived at Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode a few minutes before 11 am, was received by Governor Dapo Abiodun and inspected the Military Guard of Honours before proceeding to Oba Adetona’s palace.

Tinubu is also expected to meet the paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, of the Alake of Egbaland at his palace.

The reason for visiting the Yourba monarchs is not stated.
