Some political thugs suspected to be members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) have stormed the Ondo State House of Assembly in Akure on Monday, causing tension in the area.
Technocrat Media gathered that the thugs invaded the Assembly to prevent lawmakers that were against the deputy governor’s impeachment, from gaining access into the complex.
The thugs were said to be over 100 at the gate leading to the complex with their vehicles parked along the road.
However, the thugs were stopped by Police officers from gaining access to the premises.
