Release Salisu Tanko-Yakassai, Falana

ABUJA – Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Human Right Activist, Femi Falana has unconditionally demanded the release of Salisu Tanko-Yakassai, a former Special Adviser on Media to Kano Governor.

Yakassai was arrested  Department of State Services after labelling APC a failed government.

In a statement, Falana said “Asking Buhari to resign is not an offense” condemned the arrest of Yakassai.

He recalled that Buhari and other chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were not arrested when they demanded the resignation of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
