Landlady allegedly gives tenant N1m to kill UNIBEN Omozua for ritual

The Edo State Police Command has paraded six persons suspected to have been involved in the murder of a 21-year-old University of Benin (UNIBEN) student, Miss Uwaila Omozua in Benin City on the 27th May this year.
Late Miss Uwaila was a 100 level Microbiology student, was brutally murdered after being raped at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, where she went to study.
One of the suspected killers, Collins Uligbe, from Agbor, Delta State, revealed while being paraded that his landlady, Mrs. Mary Ade, had given them N1 million to kill Uwaila.
Collins also revealed that he was asked by his landlady, Mrs. Ade to wipe Uwaila’s private part with a handkerchief so that she could use it for the ritual to help her improve her business. he said he attends the same church as the victim before her death. However, Mrs. Ade when asked denied the allegation, saying she neither gave him the money nor asked him to wipe the lady’s private part.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Johnson Kokumo who led the parade said gave the names of the other suspects as Nelson Ogbebor, Tina Samuel, another lady, Valentine Akato, and Nosa Osabohien.
He also disclosed that the postmortem results confirmed that the victim was raped before she was murdered.
