Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has presented the 2020 Model of Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) KIA, to members of the Ondo State House of Assembly as official vehicles and allegedly ignored seven other lawmakers who have failed to sign the impeachment notice of the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, last month.
The vehicles were presented to the lawmakers at the Government House in Akure last Friday.
While presenting the vehicles Governor Akeredolu said his administration will continue to fulfill its promises despite the economic constraint in the country generally.
Governor Akeredolu urged the lawmakers to continue supporting his administration.
The Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun, on behalf of the other lawmakers thank the governor for his kind gesture, saying that it will enable them to perform their legislative duties optimally.
Mr. Oleyelogun also assured the governor of the Assembly’s support for his re-election in the forthcoming election.
It would be recalled that this is the second time in three years that the Governor Akeredolu would be presenting members of the Ondo State House of Assembly with official vehicles. He presented SUVs to members of the past 8th Assembly last year.
