Ondo State High Court in Akure the state capital on Thursday has ruled that it is set to announce its judgment in the ongoing trial of the founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Babatunde Alfa, and six other persons who were tried over the disappearance of a one-year-old Gold Kolawole in his church last year.
The Presiding Judge Olusegun Odusola made this known after the concerned parties had adopted written addresses as their final argument in the case, stating that the date of the judgment will be made public in due course.
Technocrat Media gathered that the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adekola Olawoye who led the prosecution had earlier told the court to convict the defendants based on the circumstantial evidence made available to the court.
The Defense Counsel Olusola Oke also pleaded that the court to discharge and acquit the defendants.
