Tunji-Ojo Mourns Ondo Gov’s Chief Protocol Officer

AKURE- The Ondo State Chief Protocol, Tosin Ogunbodede has died in an auto crash along Ilesha-Akure Expressway.

The report has it that Mr. Ogunbodede died alongside his driver in an auto crash on Saturday night.

Ogunbodede, a lawyer and former staff of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, was appointed as Chief of Protocol, COP, by Ondo Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on the assumption of office in 2017.

In a Statement, The Chairman of the House Committee on NDDC, representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, Mr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo says that “The death of Mr. Tosin Ogunbodede, the Chief of Protocol to Governor Akeredolu is a painful one to all of us in Ondo State and beyond. He served diligently. I specifically commiserate with the Governor who has lost a dependable and reliable protege. May God repose his soul”.
