Nigerian Veteran Actor Ernest Azusu is Dead

AKURE – Popular Nollywood Actor, Ernest Asuzu, has died after he slumped on Tuesday night.

It was recalled that the news of Asuzu’s ill health flooded the social media after he suffered a stroke for years.

A viral video also showed him begging for alms.

The actor was, however, supported by well-meaning Nigerians including the wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Willie Obiano.

He began his acting career in the late ’90s and was popular for hitman roles alongside the likes of Hanks Anuku, Jim Iyke, Emma Ehumadu, and Also Wariboko.

He was a toast of Nollywood until he develops a stroke illness in 2015 and it affected his speech.

The deceased rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 Nollywood classic, Rituals.
