AKURE – The Ondo State Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Akure has struck out the petition of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede, against the return of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the October 10 governorship election.
The Tribunal in its virtual sitting said “Eyitayo Jegede’s petition against the return of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as governor of Ondo State struck out for want of Jurisdiction.
Issue raised therein in this petition are settled issue of internal affairs and management of a political party which this Tribunal has no Jurisdiction”
