The operatives of the Nigerian Police and the Department of State Security Service (DSS) have sealed up the state secretariat of the Ondo People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Akure.

DAILYAGENT gathered that the security operatives carried out the action on Monday morning.

According to Kennedy Peretei, PDP state publicity secretary, “the action was carried out to prevent a peaceful protest by PDP youths demanding for Akeredolu’s whereabouts after being absent from the State since April 2023.”

In September, DAILYAGENT reported that Governor Akredolu returned to the country after three a month of medical vacation abroad.

The governor had remained in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, one month after his return.
