Mimiko, Gani Adams, Adebanjo pays last Respect to Yinka Odumakin

LAGOS – Former governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, that of Anambra, Mr. Peter Obi, Elder statesman, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Aare Onakakanfo, Iba Gani Adams among other eminent Nigerians on Thursday paid their last respect to the late Afenifere Spokesperson, Mr. Yinka Odumakin as he began his final journey home.

The late Afenifere spokesperson, Mr. Yinka Odunakin Died on April 2, 2021 during a brief illness.

They converged at the Police College, Ikeja,  Lagos to witness the service of songs and tributes which commenced the marked the beginning of three-day burial activities for the late activist.
His body was laid in state in a glass casket before the multitude who had come to also pay their last respect to the late activist.

Widow of Odumakin, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin who accompanied the corpse to the venue in the company of friends, families, and sympathisers.

Meanwhile, The remains of Odumakin will depart Lagos for Moro, his country home in Ife North LGA of Osun State on Friday, April 23, 2021, where a candlelight procession will hold before his lying in State at Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

This will be followed by a funeral service after which his remains will be committed to mother earth at a private interment.
