The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo state has congratulated its new candidates that emerged during the party’s primary elections held on Sunday across states and federal constituencies.
The party in line with the schedules of primaries by the national secretariat held the primaries elections for House of Assembly and House of Representatives seats across twenty-six state constituencies and nine federal constituencies in the state.
In a statement on Monday, Kennedy Ikantu Peretei, State Publicity Secretary said the elections were peaceful and congratulated the winners.

ONDO PDP CONGRATULATES CANDIDATES AT THE PARTY PRIMARIES.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ondo State Chapter, congratulates all candidates elected to fly the party’s flag for State Assembly and House of Representatives elections slated for 2023.
The orderly and peaceful manner in which delegates and party leaders conducted themselves during the exercise was a clear demonstration of the readiness of our great party to end the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the general elections next year.
Party Primaries are nothing but mechanisms to strengthen internal democracy within the party. It is our collective responsibility to rescue and rebuild our nation from those who have practically grounded the country. The Primaries were essentially a family affair. There should be no bitterness nor ill feelings.
We have put our hands on the plow and we shall not look back.
Once again, we urge all party leaders to close ranks as we prepare for the general elections.
