Tinubu begging Nigerians, int’l communities for congratulatory messages—Aisha Yesufu

Aisha Yesufu, a Nigerian activist and chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), says Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect is begging the international communities and Nigerians for congratulatory messages.

The activist on Wednesday in a video on Twitter condemned the call by the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council asking the president of the United States, Joe Biden to congratulate Nigeria’s president-elect.

Femi Fani-Kayode who is the APC’s director of new media for the presidential campaign council had asked the United States President, Joe Biden, to “pick up the phone and add his voice” in congratulating the president-elect, Bola Tinubu. 

Mrs Yesufu who spoke in Pidgin said “how person go beg for votes and still dey beg make dey congratulate am?

“I never see that kind thing before. You dey beg for congratulatory message again.

“Shebi you say you win. Dey carry your win go nah.

“Nah you wey you say you win, nah you dey go around dey ask for validation here and there”, she daid.

She added the president-elect knows he didn’t win the presidential election and even the world knows he didn’t win.
