Tinubu meets WTO DG, Okonjo-Iweala in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the director general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the director general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Okonjo-Iweala, a former minister of finance and coordinating economy during the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, arrived at the Presidential Villa alongside Tinubu’s minister-designate, Ali Pate on Tuesday.

The purpose of the meeting is not yet known as of press time.

Recall that Okonjo-Iweala had earlier in June met with Tinubu when they both attended the leadership summit held in Paris, France.
