BREAKING: Tinubu inaugurates ministers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced the inauguration of forty-five ministers to serve as members of his cabinet, the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced the inauguration of forty-five ministers to serve as members of his cabinet, the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The event which commenced at 10 am, is currently ongoing at the Presidential Villa, State House, Abuja.

The Senate had screened and confirmed 45 out of the 48 nominated and forwarded by Tinubu.

The swearing-in is being done in batch 5.

The first five ministers who have been sworn in include:

Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi

Minister of State, Gas Resources, Ekperipe Ekpo

Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Nkiruka Onyejeocha

Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy

Minister of Education, Tahir Maman

Second batch ministers:

Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf M. Tuggar

Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ali Pate

Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Joseph Utsev

Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri is the Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources

Third batch of ministers:

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu

Minister of Sports Development, John Enoh

Minister of Works, David Umahi and others will follow.
