Bosun Tijani, minister of communications, innovation and digital economy, says his team met with stakeholders in the tech ecosystem to discuss how the country will achieve raising new one million technical talents.
Tijani posted this on his X handle on Tuesday.
“My team and I spent some time today with some key stakeholders in tech to co-create innovative ways to achieve Mr. President’s target to train 1 million technical talents. This is the first in a series of ecosystem engagements to ensure we get the best solutions from within,” he said in the post.
According to the minister, the meeting was in line with the work of his ministry towards the target of training one million people in technical skills by 2025.
