“Be a minister or anybody. If you have developed where you are supposed not to develop, your house must go down.”

The former Rivers governor said he is sorry for those who have taken over the green areas to build.

“Those who’ve taken over the green areas to build, sorry. Our parks must come back. The green areas must come back.

The minister warned those who are operating restaurants in the green areas, saying the government would not accept that

He also said those who are involved in land racketeering should expect nothing anymore because the era is over.

Wike also said the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) will withdraw the certificate of occupancy (C of O) given to people by previous administrations if such lands were not developed.

“We will take back our lands and give to those who want to develop. And you must sign that you will develop at a particular time.

He also noted that the government would review the current operational model of waste collection and management in the nation’s capital.
