The All Progressive Congress has won the chairmanship seat across all local governments in the state in the just concluded election.
APC secured a grand slide victory by winning the 18 local government chairmanship seats available in the state. They also won 199 Councillorship seats out of the 203 seats in the state.
APC was unopposed in 5 local governments, as they were the only Validly Nominated Candidates in the local governments. The local governments are: Akoko North East, Ose, Ifedore, Odigbo, and Irele.
